Photography has always been a passion of mine. Since the early 1990s, I photographed with a Canon film SLR camera—though always in automatic mode. Then came the transition to digital photography, along with the chaos of data management. At that point, photography took a back seat,
In 2017, a major trip was coming up—and I wanted to take good photos! I started with an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II and learned manual exposure as well as data management using Lightroom. While searching for courses nearby, I quickly discovered the photography department of the Catholic Academy in Stapelfeld, led by Willie Rolfes. I was fortunate to learn from outstanding landscape photographers there, and to this day, this style of photography remains incredibly relaxing and inspiring for me.
